The horror master behind *Cabin Fever** *and *Hostel* is serving up a chilling new flick.

The new teaser for Eli Roth's *Ice Cream Man*, debuting exclusively with *Entertainment Weekl*y, offers a first look at the slasher that hauntingly reminds everyone, "we all scream."

Set in the "idyllic summer town" of Bayleen Bay, the trailer begins with a lighthearted ice cream jingle playing in the background as children play baseball and gather by an ice cream truck for a frozen treat.

However, the town's seemingly sweet persona quickly melts into madness as children turn violent, all while an ice cream man, played by *Orphan Black*'s Ari Millen, looks on with a sinister smile.

"*Ice Cream Man* follows an idyllic summer town descending into madness when an ice cream man serves kids sweet delights with horrifying results," reads the official synopsis.

Co-written with Noah Belson, the film also stars Benjamin Byron Davis, Karen Cliche, Dylan Hawco, and Sarah Abbott, among others. Executive produced by rap legend Nas, the movie will also feature original music from none other than Snoop Dogg.

*Ice Cream Man *marks the latest splatter horror from Roth, who has also helmed *Hostel: Part II*, *The Green Inferno,* and *Thanksgiving*. His other directing credits include the erotic thriller *Knock Knock *and the remake of the action film *Death Wish*. Roth's time in front of the screen includes starring as Donny "The Bear Jew" Donowitz in Quentin Tarantino's war film *Inglourious Basterds**.*

Speaking with *Variety** *in 2025, Roth shared he's had the idea for *Ice Cream Man* for over 20 years.

"I've had this idea for a long, long time, and studios were too afraid of my early drafts. Now's the time to push the envelope farther than I ever have with what I think will be my most terrifying and insane film to date," Roth shared.

*Ice Cream Man *arrives in theaters on August 7, 2026.
