Pedro Pascal learned the hard way not to mess with a member of the X-Men. **

During his visit to* Jimmy Kimmel Live* on Wednesday, Alan Cumming revealed that he injured the *Fantastic Four* actor while they were filming their very first scene in *Avengers: Doomsday *together.**

“What was funny was my first scene with Pedro, he hurt his neck and had to go home,” Cumming told host Jimmy Kimmel. “So I broke Pedro.”

In May, Cumming made headlines when he accidentally revealed that *Doomsday* will see his X-Men character Kurt Wagner/Nightcrawler go head-to-head against Pascal’s Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic in at least one scene. **

Still, Kimmel was shocked to learn that Cumming actually ending up doing lasting damage to his costar. “Did you hurt his neck?” the host asked. “Were you fighting with him at the time?”**

But Cumming played coy. “No, I wasn’t fighting, no,” he said. “I was just sort of… being.”**

When asked instead if he was fighting alongside Pascal, Cumming burst into laughter. “You’re trying to get me into trouble again,” he teased. “No, no, it wasn’t. We were just together in a scene. And I wasn’t fighting! But he’s got these long arms and everything, so it’s quite complicated.”

The Emmy winner went on to clarify that neither of their characters were utilizing their powers when the incident occurred. “I do have a tail, but I didn’t have my tail on at the time,” he said. “And Pedro didn’t have his arms on either.” **

Pascal did, however, end up having to get a massage in order to fix his neck. “He got cupped! Do you know that thing, the cupping?” Cumming asked Kimmel. “He showed me a couple of nights later at the hotel.”

Cumming and Pascal addressed the accidental *Doomsday* leak when the *Fantastic Four: First Steps* cast visited *Jimmy Kimmel Live* in July. At the time, Cumming, who was filling in as a guest host, asked his fellow Marvel stars if they found it hard to keep the MCU’s many secrets. **

“It’s funny that you should ask,” Pascal fired back. “The biggest leak that we’ve had comes from our host.”**

Cumming admitted that he ended in trouble for the slip. “My publicist called me,” he said. “The wrath of your publicist is not a wrath you want to have.”

The *Traitors* host also tried to suggest that the leak may have been one big lie.

“I said a thing about us fighting but — cub's honor — have you done what I said, have you been in a fight with me in this film, Pedro?” Cumming asked. A visibly stunned Pascal took a beat before cryptically answering, "Alan and I have never had a fight."

Which is all Cumming needed to prove his point. “See!" he cheered. "So, actually, maybe I got it wrong and the fight was about somebody else and I was double bluffing you Marvel people!” **

“So smart, so smart,” Pascal teased. “Intentional, intentional.”
